"I grew up in San Diego and I joined Phi Rho to find a family on campus. Coming to Cal Poly Pomona I didn't know anyone. Before Phi Sigma Rho I didn't think I would join a sorority, but after learning about who Phi Rho is I'm so glad I did!"

"I love to go on adventures and make new friends. Quality time is my #1 love language. It is how I show love and how I like to receive love. I joined Phi Rho to find a home away from home! I was in band in high and it was literally a family and I loved every minute of it!! It is an amazing thing to be a part of something bigger than yourself"

"I am a hardworking student. I take school very seriously. I love to play basketball and hangout with friends. When I'm not in school I like traveling around the world. I wanted a sisterhood relationship like I did with my high school basketball team. I chose a engineering/ technology sorority because I wanted people to understand me when I talk "engineering." I also wanted the support from other females in the engineering field."

"I enjoy trying new foods and going to concerts. I'm currently a second year at CPP. I have a dog named Appa. I joined Phi Rho looking for a network of women to help me in the future with my career and not only did I find that within Phi Rho, I made lifetime connections and found women who are driven and empowering to others. I love my sisters and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world."

"I'm a fifth year biotechnology major with a chemistry minor. I love animals, music, and baking. I always wanted sisters, so I knew I wanted to join a sorority. I met the sisters of Phi Sigma Rho and I had so much in common with all of them and instantly knew I found my 'home away from home'."

"School-wise, I'm also a member of Kellogg Honor's College. Hobby-wise, I love listening to BTS (and some kpop), Taylor Swift, Pentatonix; I'm also fond of reading Victorian-era novels for (some weird reasons) as well as Greek Mythology. I sometimes sketch and write short stories. Follow me at insta @datbridge_jet yoh
I had planned since senior year of high school to join a sorority. Being a sorority for engineers and technical sciences, Phi Rho made me feel that it was the right place where I saw myself to perfectly belong in. I also sought for improvement of essential skills such as leadership and communication, and I definitely noticed how much my skills have grown since day one. I also joined for the network and I'm super glad I did because I met such amazing, supportive, smart, inspiring, talented, and hard-working sisters that I look up to a lot. I felt like I needed a role model to survive the rough path of an engineering career, and Phi Rho is full of them!"

Physics
"I am a second year physics major at Cal Poly Pomona. I initiated into Phi Sigma Rho in Spring 2017. Even though I haven't been in Phi Rho for very long, I am extremely excited to create new friendships through going Greek and to watch my current friendships become even stronger. I joined Phi Sigma Rho because I wanted to find a group of people that could give me unconditional support and encouragement. As cliche as it sounds, I wanted to find a home away from home. I wanted to find a group of people that I could be myself with and not hold back. In just 3 months of being an active, Phi Rho has helped me grow and discover things about myself that I never knew. During recruitment, the thing that amazed me the most was that each girl is unique in her own special way, and that no two are exactly the same. However, despite these girls being extremely unique, the one thing that connects them together is that they all share a love for Phi Rho and will help any of their sisters at any time of day. I couldn't be more happy with my choice and more grateful that I am a part of this amazing organization."
