Where Are They Now?

Phi Sigma Rho goes far beyond our college years. Our sisters continue to grow and inspire us even after graduation.

"During college, Phi Rho helped me develop my organization, leadership, and social skills. It also taught me a lot of valuable life lessons and created wonderfully close relationships with my fellow sisters, ladies who I truly view as my blood sisters. These bonds have guided and shaped my life in more ways than one. Not only have I called on my sisters for guidance through college, but I still call on them today for advice with my career. Currently, I work as a Civil Engineer for Tetra Tech, an engineering consulting firm, and I work in the Solid Waste Division and we primarily deal with landfills."
"I met my husband through Phi Sigma Rho. He's an Electrical Engineer who also attended CPP and he's a member of Triangle Fraternity's gamma class. We met at a greek social event. If it wasn't for Phi Rho, I may not have ever met him."

"Some of the best memories I have with Phi Rho include adventures of some kind. From socials to spirit weeks, weekend getaways to yearly conferences, it was always fun to meet all around campus and the world. I graduated with a Civil Engineering degree and Business minor and now work as a Project Manager in construction at a general contracting company."

"When I first started college I was shy and distant. I tried to get involved with clubs, but still found myself struggling to make friends. One summer I started attending concrete canoe and met a few girls there who called themselves sisters. They didn't look anything alike, but the more I got to know them, the nicer they were. I hadn't felt so much support since I started college. That fall I joined Phi Sigma Rho. It may sound funny, but my strongest memories are of when we would line up for pictures. Everyone had so much confidence and enjoyed being goofy or over the top. There was so much energy that it was hard not to laugh and join in! Today, that confidence propels me forward and helps me to always speak up and try, no matter what I'm facing! In my career, I continue to face uncertain challenges, but Phi Rho has taught me to smile, to laugh, and to grow."

"Being a part of Phi Sigma Rho has really helped me grow as an individual. I was given the confidence and opportunity to take on leadership roles which opened up more opportunities. My big sister, Amanda Garcia, even helped me prepare for my first internship interview which I got! I have met so many amazing people and created life long friendships with my sisters. I am grateful to have joined Phi Sigma Rho my first quarter in college and am excited to continue involvement any way I can as a full time Traffic Engineer in Fort Worth, TX."

"I'm a bit more reserved than others, but Phi Rho offered a lot of opportunities for me to step out of my comfort zone e.g. participating in the Greek Week talent show. It's amazing to see how these ladies grew throughout the years and inspiring to see what everyone had accomplished. Phi Rho really helped me gain more confidence and helped me prepare for life after school. I hope to apply all that I learned from this sisterhood into my career as a Civil Engineer Associate at Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). "
